Betting

• Advising multiple Irish, UK and international betting companies in relation to their applications for remote bookmaker and remote betting intermediary licences from the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland
• Advising on transitional licensing arrangements during the commencement period of the Gambling Regulation Act 2024
• Advising licensed betting operators on requirements for Certificates of Personal Fitness for key personnel
• Advising on the implications of mergers/acquisitions on Irish bookmaker and remote betting intermediary licences
• Advising on the legal requirements protecting children and vulnerable persons

Gaming/Lotteries/Competition

• Advising on the lawful promotion and operation of skill games, lotteries and prize draws in Ireland and on the sponsorship of sporting and other events
• Advising multiple clients on prize competitions including compliance with Advertising codes and standards and applicable licenses, prize limits and stake limits
• Advising on the legislation governing Ireland’s National Lottery
