Sarah is Of Counsel in the firm’s Asset Management and Investment Funds Group. She is very experienced in advising on the establishment and operation of different investment fund types.
Sarah is responsible for legal and regulatory awareness within the Group. She keeps colleagues and clients updated on relevant legal, regulatory, and commercial developments relating to the authorisation and ongoing compliance obligations of funds in Ireland. Sarah produces a number of bulletins, client updates and board reports on asset management and investment fund-related topics. Sarah has acted for a number of large fund promoters in establishing fund complexes comprising UCITS and AIFs and associated management companies and AIFMs. She advised both domestic and international clients, including investment managers, financial institutions, service providers and investors, on the operation and regulation of investment funds (including ETFs, money market funds, direct lending funds and private equity funds). Sarah has spoken at industry events on topics such as the role of a depositary under the AIFMD and the impact of ESMA developments on UCITS and has been a member of several Irish Funds Working Groups.
