Peter is Of Counsel with the firm’s Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Investigations Group and acts for a range of domestic and international clients in investigations and a wide variety of commercial disputes.
Peter advises on financial services disputes, breach of contract claims, judicial reviews, public procurement challenges and competition disputes. He is frequently involved in matters in the Commercial List and the Competition List and has acted for clients in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. Peter has significant experience in large regulatory investigations and inquiries and also advises on alternative dispute resolution processes

- Acting for Volvo Trucks / Renault Trucks in multiple sets of Competition Court proceedings brought by truck purchasers arising out of the decision of the EU Commission to fine certain truck manufacturers a total of €2.93 billion
- Acting for a consortium in Commercial Court public procurement proceedings in connection with a tender process for a significant tolling contract
- Acting for Roadstone/CRH plc in multiple Commercial Court and High Court product proceedings
- Acting for a major provider of smartcard ticketing systems in Commercial Court judicial review proceedings regarding a tender process for a significant transport ticketing contract
- Advising the Regulatory Decisions Unit of the Central Bank of Ireland in the first Administrative Sanctions Procedure Inquiry
- Advising a global fund service provider in relation to claims by the ICAV and investors
- Acting for the contracting authority in High Court judicial review proceedings relating to the Luas contract
- Acting for daa plc in Commercial Court public procurement proceedings relating to a significant site services contract at Dublin Airport
