Neil Murphy is a senior associate in our Capital Markets Group and specialises in debt capital markets and structured finance transactions.
Neil has broad experience advising on a range of CLO, RMBS, receivables financing and other ABS and structured transactions. He regularly advises buyers and sellers of loan portfolios and has also advised on regulatory matters relating to financing vehicles, financial institutions and others.
Relevant Experience
- Advising BNP and MUFG as arrangers of an Irish law securitisation of auto loans originated by Finance Ireland, an STS transaction
- Advising AIB on an Irish law securitisation of residential mortgages originated by EBS and Haven (Burlington 2), an STS transaction
- Advising Morgan Stanley on Irish RMBS transactions
- Advising an international pharmaceuticals group on the establishment of a USD$1,000,000,000 receivables financing facility
- Advising Commerzbank and Rabobank as arrangers of a pan-European STS securitisation of lease receivables originated by TIP Group
- Advising on the establishment of Section 110 structures to fund the acquisition of distressed assets in European jurisdictions, including in Spain and Portugal
- Advising buyers and sellers on various large loan portfolio sale transactions
- Advising Investcorp, Partners Group and other leading mangers on the establishment and operation of Section 110 risk retention holding structures
- Advising the dealers on the Bank of Ireland EMTN Programme
- Advising issuers and originators on CLO transactions arranged by several leading managers
