Michael is a corporate partner and head of the firm’s Private Equity practice.

Michael focuses on advising financial investors and public and private companies on all types of domestic and cross-border M&A, including buyouts, exits, secondaries, carve-outs and spin-offs, public to privates, private investments and joint-venture structures. Michael also advises clients on shareholder activism, takeover defense, restructurings, corporate governance, executive incentivisation and securities law matters.

• Starwood Capital Group on its strategic investment in Echelon Data Centres, a leading data centre developer in Ireland and the UK. The Arthur Cox team also advised on Echelon’s new €900m debt facility which will provide capital for the group’s continued expansion.
• Verdane Advisors AS on the acquisition of a majority stake in Corlytics, the Ireland based provider of risk intelligence software.
