Cristina is a senior associate in our Tax Group and advises a broad range of domestic and international clients on all aspects of corporate and financial services taxation.

Cristina provides advice in relation to all tax heads across a variety of domestic and international corporate transactions including group restructuring and reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance,  securitisations, structured finance.

Relevant Experience

• Advising international clients on establishing operations in Ireland, including establishing and maintaining Irish tax residence 
• Advising multinational companies on reorganisations and corporate restructurings  
• Acting for a number of Irish and international financial institutions with respect to tax structuring of the disposal and acquisition of loan portfolio assets, securitisations, CLOs, CMBS/RMBS and receivables financings 
• Advising a number of other arrangers and managers on the establishment of Irish originator platforms for CLOs and advising on a series of CLOs utilising these structures 
• Advising domestic and international clients on lending arrangements with bank and non-bank lenders 
• Advising banks and public companies on public issuances of various forms of debt 
• Advising on the tax aspects of Irish employment issues for domestic and international clients 
• Advising domestic and international clients on VAT compliance obligations 
• Advising on EU risk retention compliant originator companies and CLOs for Partners Group, Napier Park, Alcentra and others 
• Advising Seagate on its proposal to insert a new NASDAQ listed holding company on top of the group to facilitate the creation of distributable reserves and the returning of cash to shareholders by way of dividends and share buybacks
