Ciara is Of Counsel in our Construction and Engineering Group. She has extensive knowledge in advising clients on a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious construction and public procurement related matters.
Ciara advises a range of clients, both domestic and international, companies, developers, investors and funders, with respect to development financings and construction related real estate transactions, as well as having a specialist knowledge of public procurement law. She also has a wide range of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and construction documents, and providing general commercial law advice to clients across the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors.
Relevant Experience
- Advising the Land Development Agency (LDA) on bespoke construction documents for a number of their sites, including Hollystown, Hansfield and Devoy Barracks. Advised the LDA on their Tosaigh 2 initiative, which will see the LDA forward fund a number of developments in order to deliver residential units across a number of different locations.
- Advising on various development projects and expansion of manufacturing facilities across several Dairygold facilities.
- Advising Union Investment USG on a forward fund development and completion of a hotel, for Premier Inn at Castleforbes, Dublin 1.
- Advised Irish Life on their private residential and private rental investment arm, including a forward fund development at Balroy House, Carpenterstown Road, Dublin 15.
- Advising both Generation Estates and Ares Management on the development and refurbishment of a student accommodation project at Blackhall Place, Dublin 7.
- Advising Ardstone Capital on a number of forward fund and forward purchase transactions for their sites, including Citywest, Two Oaks and St. Edmunds.
- Advising National Broadband Ireland on all aspects of the deployment of the National Broadband Project.
- Advising Irish Rail in relation to its National Train Control Centre Project.
