My name is Brendan Kennedy and I’m a partner in the Debt Capital Markets Group. Our group specialises in a wide variety of debt capital markets and structured finance transactions from traditional ABS to corporate and high yield bond issuances, receivables, financing, structured lending and other private credit transactions. In terms of my areas of focus, I generally advise international investment firms and investment banks on the structuring, negotiation and execution of securitisation and structured lending transactions. I also advise on the establishment of private credit structures using Irish section 1(10) vehicles and other regulated and unregulated Irish vehicles. In servicing these clients, we work regularly with the investment funds, tax and financial regulatory groups to ensure seamless delivery of advice across a wide range of matters from bespoke securitisation reg solutions to areas such as credit servicing for MPL portfolios, market abuse, anti money laundering and more recently the impact of CSRD and CSDR.
We are constantly finding innovative solutions for our clients and horizon scanning on future issues that may impact their deals. Lastly, and one of the key focuses for our group is understanding the needs and expectations of our international client base. The strength and depth of our team and in particular our associate base really enforces this and emboldens our offering. We always strive to be as responsive as possible without compromising the quality of our advice and we feel this in particular sets our Group apart from our peers and hopefully allows us to maintain a strong offering for our clients into the future.
