A recent report by the Health and Safety Authority confirms that the most common cause of accident leading to a fatal injury at work is falling from height. The reality is that working from height for the purposes of health and safety regulations includes work at any height (even one step off the ground) where, if a person were to fall, the fall could result in injury.
