Flutter accelerated acquisition of FanDuel
Arthur Cox is very pleased to advise Flutter Entertainment plc (“Flutter”), the leading global sports betting and gaming group, on its accelerated acquisition of 37.2% of FanDuel Group Parent LLC (“FanDuel”) from Fastball Holdings LLC.
The Arthur Cox team was led by Maura McLaughlin (Corporate and M&A) and included David Vos, Amy McDermott, Kate Hogan and Daire Cassidy (Corporate and M&A), and Caroline Devlin (Tax).
Commenting on the deal, Maura said: “We are delighted to work with Flutter on this transaction, which increases Flutter’s stake in FanDuel, the market leader in US online gaming, to 95% and increases Flutter’s exposure to the growing US market.”
A team from Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz, led by Igor Kirman and Victor Goldfeld, provided US law advice to Flutter on this transaction.
