Since 1999, the Calcutta Run has made an extraordinary impact supporting homelessness services in both Ireland and Calcutta, and the Dublin run is the cornerstone event of Calcutta Run each year since it started in 1999. 
It consists of a 6km and 10km run/walk, beginning and ending at Blackhall Place, with its main route proceeding through the Phoenix Park and surrounding areas. 

In 2024, over 1,000 people took part, with 200 volunteers. This year its charity partners include the Dublin Simon Community and the Hope Foundation.

The Dublin Calcutta Run will take place on Saturday 24 May 2025.
