Arthur Cox announces two new partners
Key appointments strengthen expertise in Environment and Planning and Corporate and M&A.
We are very pleased to announce the appointment of two new partners in the key areas of Environment and Planning and Corporate and M&A. Jacinta Conway, Partner, Environment and Planning and Amy McDermott, Partner, Corporate and M&A were both previously senior associates with Arthur Cox. Their appointments further strengthen the firm’s expertise in these areas, and demonstrate the firm’s commitment to the highest level of client service.

Jacinta Conway, Partner, Environment and Planning
Jacinta has practised exclusively in the area of Environment and Planning for many years, and has played a key role in advising on some of the most complex and significant transactions and litigation in the country. She has a special focus on the renewable energy, waste and natural resources sectors, and specialises in de-risking projects at the outset of their life cycle. Jacinta has also extensive litigation experience in planning and environmental judicial review challenges, planning injunction proceedings and criminal enforcement prosecutions.
Amy McDermott, Partner, Corporate and M&A
Amy specialises in advising a wide range of domestic and international clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law across a range of industries and sectors. Her key areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, loan portfolio sales, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Amy has particular experience in transactions and advisory work in the renewable energy, infrastructure and financial services sectors.
