We were pleased to advise Power Capital Renewable Energy on a portfolio of solar finance projects worth €125m with lenders AIB and La Banque Postale for the purposes of constructing 230MW of solar power facilities in Ireland, which will significantly boost the country’s renewable energy capacity. The projects are currently under construction and are expected to be commissioned over the next nine months, employing around 400 people during the construction phase.

The team was led by Niamh McGovern (Energy/Construction) and Ciara Buckley (Finance), and included Alex McLean (Energy), Karen Killoran (Construction), Audrey Hughes (Finance), Andrew McMaster (Finance), Seán Farrell (Finance), James Downey (Energy), Shane O’Neill and Hugh O’Reilly (Construction).
