Accessibility Statement
Arthur Cox is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
We recognise the importance of making our digital presence inclusive for all users, and this ongoing initiative reflects our commitment to providing an accessible and user-friendly online experience.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, due to the non-accessible content listed below.
Non-accessible content
Some content on the Arthur Cox website is missing accessibility attributes. We are working to address the following accessibility issues:
Tables
- Some tables do not have correctly defined headers.
PDFs
- Some documents in PDF format are not fully accessible, and may in some instances lack a correct tab order or headings.
- Some documents have no structural tags present.
- Some PDF document titles are blank.
Images
- Some images are missing alternative descriptions.
- Some images with alternative text may be insufficiently descriptive.
Links
- Some links on the website, for example “click here” or “read more”, do not give sufficient context.
Media
- Our podcasts have text transcripts and our videos have captions. However some of our videos require additional text transcripts and audio descriptions which we are working to implement to make our video content more accessible.
This is not an exhaustive list of non-accessible content. We are working to improve the accessibility of our website and will endeavour to work through the accessibility issues.
While we strive to maintain an accessible experience for all our users, some external sites may have varying levels of accessibility features which we have little control over.
